1. Warranty Policy

1.1  What Is Covered

PakByte acts as an intermediary between you and the manufacturer or distributor. Where a manufacturer warranty applies, PakByte will assist you in submitting a warranty claim for defective products within the covered period.

A limited no-charge warranty applies during the first year. Service charges may apply for the remaining warranty period, as defined by the manufacturer.


1.2  What Is Not Covered

The following items and circumstances are excluded from all warranty coverage:

  • Power adapters, cables, printer cartridges, toners, pre-installed software, and other accessories or consumables
  • Dead pixels, spots, or display anomalies on LCD/LED monitors or laptop screens
  • Software issues — please contact the manufacturer directly for software support
  • PC components sold individually (warranty terms for complete PC systems do not apply)
  • Routine maintenance, normal wear and tear, or cosmetic damage
  • Damage caused by unauthorised repairs, liquid exposure, weather conditions, or mishandling
  • Products with tampered, missing, or illegible serial numbers
  • Products showing signs of burning, corrosion, or physical damage


1.3  Warranty Cards

No products include a manufacturer or distributor warranty card. If your invoice states "Warranty card given," please ensure you receive the card at the time of purchase. Claims for such products must be submitted directly by the buyer using the warranty card.


1.4  International Warranties

Certain imported products carry an international warranty that must be claimed directly with the manufacturer. You may confirm about the warranty of a product you are importing from us if it has international or local warranty at the time of purchase. In such cases, you are responsible for following the manufacturer's registration and claims process.


1.5  Discontinued Products

If a product is discontinued by the manufacturer before a warranty claim is fulfilled, the manufacturer or distributor may offer a replacement or upgrade at an additional cost. This will always be communicated to you for approval. If you decline, a refund may be issued after accounting for applicable depreciation.

PakByte reserves the right to update warranty terms at any time in line with manufacturer or distributor policy changes.


2. Liability Limitation

PakByte's services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PakByte makes no warranties — express or implied — that the services will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, or be free of errors.

PakByte, its suppliers, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation, loss of revenue, data, business, or goodwill, whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise.

In any event, PakByte's total cumulative liability to you shall not exceed PKR 100. These limitations apply even if any remedy fails its essential purpose.


3. Fees & Payments

3.1  Applicable Fees

PakByte may apply fees on deposits, withdrawals, sales, and purchases linked to your account. All amounts on the platform are quoted in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and include applicable taxes. You are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date payment information on your account.

3.2  Transaction Verification

PakByte reserves the right to verify and approve all transactions. During a verification review, your account may be temporarily suspended. This does not affect your obligation to settle any outstanding fees. PakByte is not responsible for transactions that cannot be processed due to insufficient funds, failed identity verification, or other external reasons.


3.3  Purchases & Refunds

All purchases, including virtual items and on-order products, are considered final. On-order or imported items have estimated delivery dates; however, delays may occur due to shipping disruptions, carrier issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Refunds are granted solely at PakByte's discretion and only in exceptional circumstances.

Do not initiate disputes or chargebacks through third-party payment processors. All issues and queries must be submitted through pakbyte.pk/pages/contact. A first instance may result in account suspension; further instances will result in permanent termination.
